NIS America bestätigt die europäische Veröffentlichung: YS IX: Monstrum Nox erscheint 2021 für PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch und PC.

Der berühmte Abenteurer Adol „The Red“ Christin und sein Begleiter Dogi kommen in Balduq an, einer Stadt, annektiert durch das Romun Empire. Bevor Adol allerdings überhaupt einen Fuß in die Metropole setzen kann, wird er festgenommen. Während seiner Gefangenschaft trifft er auf Aprilis, die ihn in ein Monstrum verwandelt, ein Wesen mit übernatürlichen Kräften und exorzistischen Fähigkeiten. Adol muss sich mit weiteren Monstrums verbünden, um die furchterregenden Gefahren zu bekämpfen, die aus der geheimnisvollen Dimension Grimwald Nox einfallen. Auf seinem Abenteuer entdeckt Adol das Mysterium des Monstrum-Fluches und die Wahrheit hinter den anhaltenden Unruhen in Balduq.
