KOEI TECMO Europe en ontwikkelaar Team NINJA hebben een demo uitgebracht van hun nieuwste epische ‘masocore’-game, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. De demo is verkrijgbaar van vrijdag 16 september om 13:00 CEST tot maandag 26 september om 08:59 CEST op Xbox Series X|S en PlayStation®5.
De spectaculaire demo verplaatst spelers naar een duistere, krankzinnige Three Kingdoms-wereld en de chaotische strijd tegen de demonen die het land overspoelen. De demo laat spelers genieten van snelle en strategische zwaardgevechten die zijn gebaseerd op de Chinese vechtkunst. Daarnaast geeft de demo een voorproefje op de online-multiplayer, de personage-maker, verticale verkenningsmogelijkheden en het belang van moraal. Iedereen die de demo heeft uitgespeeld ontvangt als bonus het speciale item “Crouching Dragon Helmet”, die spelers in de volledige game kunnen gebruiken. Via de demo komt ook een enquête beschikbaar voor het verzamelen van feedback die de ontwikkelaar wil gebruiken voor de verdere ontwikkeling van de game. Wie deelneemt aan de enquête wordt beloond met een originele wallpaper.
Daarnaast heeft Team NINJA een tutorialvideo gemaakt die spelers op weg helpt bij het doorgronden van de masocore-ervaring, van counteraanvallen tot kundig gebruik van de vele wapens.
Ter ere van de release van de demo is een “Wo Long Highlights” Twitter-campagne begonnen. Volg het officiële Twitter-account (@WoLongOfficial), en post je coolste gameplay-moment met de hashtag #WoLongDemoEU. Uit alle inzendingen worden tien winnaars gekozen die een origineel Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty T-shirt ontvangen.
