Samurai Warriors 5 ist eine Neuinterpretation des Franchise, inklusive einer neuen Geschichte, überarbeitetem Charakter-Design und einer stilvollen visuellen Präsentation. Der Titel lässt Spieler die Samurai-Warriors-Erfahrung in der Sengoku-Periode erleben. Im Fokus werden Nobunaga Oda und Mutsuhide Akechi stehen. Was hinter diesem elektrisierenden Samurai-Gefecht steht, kann im monatlichen Samurai-Warriors-5-Livestream herausgefunden werden, der am 25. Februar startet. Fans dürfen sich auf regelmäßige Updates bis zur Veröffentlichung im Sommer freuen.
