Das knallharte Action-RPG ist ab sofort für Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, PC über Windows und Steam® sowie über Xbox Game Pass für Konsole und PC erhältlich.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty spielt im Jahr 184 n. Chr., während der späteren Han-Dynastie, in einem Land, das von Chaos und Zerstörung heimgesucht wird. Mit einer kaiserlichen Dynastie am Rande des Zusammenbruchs liegt es in der Hand eines namenlosen Milizsoldaten, siegreich aus diesen harten Schlachten hervorzugehen. In den Turbulenzen der Drei Königreiche trifft man nicht nur auf unzählige Dämonen sondern auch auf einige der mächtigsten und furchterregendsten Krieger der Geschichte, wie Liu Bei, Cao Cao und Sun Jian. Um die Widrigkeiten zu überwinden, müssen Spieler ihre innere Stärke erwecken, indem sie den fließenden Schwertkampf der chinesischen Kampfkünste meistern, Zaubersprüche basierend auf den fünf Phasen (Elementen) wirken und sogar göttliche Bestien beschwören.

Zur Feier des Launchs des Spiels hat KOEI TECMO Europe den Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Original-Soundtrack auf verschiedenen Musikplattformen veröffentlicht. Dieser enthält alle 53 Songs aus dem Spiel in voller Länge, darunter zahlreiche Meisterwerke von Kenichiro Suehiro, dem Schöpfer der Musik von „Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World" und „GOLDEN KAMUY".
Darüber hinaus kündigte KOEI TECMO eine Kooperation zwischen Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty und NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, einem beliebten Actionspiel, das sich weltweit über 10 Millionen Mal verkauft hat und auf Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, Steam und im Microsoft Store erhältlich ist. Die Zusammenarbeit beginnt am 3. März in NARAKA und wird in einem kommenden DLC für Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty verfügbar sein.
Eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty und der Bekleidungsmarke EDWIN ist ebenfalls angekündigt worden. Es ist geplant, in Zusammenarbeit mit Team NINJA Produkte zu entwerfen, die auf der Spielwelt basieren. Weitere Details folgen zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt.
Spieler, die bis zum 16. März entweder die physische oder die digitale Version von Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty kaufen, erhalten die spezielle „Baihu-Rüstung". Eine limitierte SteelBook®-Version von Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty wird ebenfalls zum Launch am 3. März erhältlich sein. Die SteelBook® Launch Edition enthält eine exklusive Sammlerhülle sowie die Bonus-DLC-Gegenstände „Krone von Zhurong" und „Krone von Gonggong".
