KOEI TECMO Europe und Entwickler Kou Shibusawa veröffentlichen heute die Erweiterung Romance of The Three Kingdoms XIV: Diplomacy and Strategy Expansion Pack für PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch und Steam.
Das Diplomacy and Strategy Expansion Pack beinhaltet vier neue Szenarien, die es Spielern ermöglicht, in die Fußstapfen eines einzigartigen Warlords zu treten. Je nachdem, welche der Macht der Spieler auswählt, werden verschiedene Ansätze zur Wiedervereinigung des antikes Chinas ermöglicht. Während die Szenarien klassische Ereignisse wiedergeben, kann im neuen Event-Editor das Erlebnis individuell gestaltet und angepasst werden. Hintergründe, Sprecher, BGM, Nachrichten und Offiziersbilder ermöglichen die Umsetzung einer ganz eigenen historischen Vorstellung.
Die kommende Erweiterung beinhaltet darüber hinaus neue Offiziers-Charakteristika, die ein einzigartigeres Spielererlebnis ermöglichen. Neue Eigenschaften sind beispielsweise „Plunderer“, „Adament“, „Guard“ und „Ministrant“.
