Heute enthüllen KOEI TECMO Europe und Entwickler Omega Force die ersten Details zur Handlung des kommenden 1 vs. 1.000-Actionspiels DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS, das 2025 für PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S und Windows PC über Steam® erscheinen wird. DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS verspricht die intensivste Action aller bisherigen Warriors-Titel und stellt den Fans einen heroischen Krieger vor, der auf den Schlachtfeldern der Drei Königreiche unzählige Armeen bezwingen muss, um das Unmögliche zu erreichen.
DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS führt eine neue, tiefere Interpretation der traditionellen Drei-Königreiche-Geschichte ein, in der die antike Historie Chinas dargestellt wird. Die Geschichte beginnt ein Jahr vor dem Aufstand der Gelben Turbane, zu Beginn einer Ära großer Umwälzungen.Der Protagonist, ein Krieger mit Amnesie, besucht ein Dorf, das unter einer Hungersnot leidet. Dort trifft er auf Zhang Jiao, einen langhaarigen Mann, der den Menschen beisteht, und Guan Yu, einen bärtigen Krieger, der die Ungerechtigkeit der Regierungsbeamten anprangert. Gemeinsam kämpfen sie gegen die korrupte Regierung.

Die fesselnde Geschichte wird aus der Sicht des an Amnesie leidenden Protagonisten erzählt, der sich als einsamer Held durchschlägt. Im Laufe des Spiels werden die Ereignisse der Drei Königreiche klarer und detaillierter beschrieben, was nicht nur für Fans von Romance of the Three Kingdoms und Dynasty Warriors, sondern auch für Neueinsteiger ein fesselndes Erlebnis ist.
DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS bietet ein überwältigendes Gefühl von Realismus auf jedem Schlachtfeld, mit der bisher größten Anzahl von Soldaten in der Geschichte der Serie. Die feindlichen Soldaten greifen im Verbund an und sind äußerst schlagkräftig. Während man seine eigenen Fähigkeiten im Kampf einsetzt, muss man auch mit seinen Verbündeten vorstürmen, um den Weg frei zu machen. Sobald man das Feld stürmt und sich auf den Kampf vorbereitet, trifft man mit seinen Verbündeten auf Tausende von feindlichen Soldaten der gegnerischen Armeen und erlebt so ein Gefühl von Realismus und eine noch nie dagewesene Größe des Schlachtfelds. Wenn bestimmte Bedingungen erfüllt sind, kann der Spieler vorübergehend Guan Yu und andere Offiziere steuern, die an seiner Seite marschieren.
DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS zeigt die riesige Welt der Drei Königreiche auf einer Kontinentalkarte, auf der sich die Spieler frei bewegen, mit den Helden interagieren und wählen können, welches Schlachtfeld sie als nächstes erkunden wollen.
