Maneater beißt sich zur Nintendo Switch durch: Veröffentlichung erfolgt am 25. Mai 2021

Tripwire Interactive und Retail-Publishing-Partner Deep Silver bringen das erste Action-RPG auf Nintendo Switch, in dem Spieler sich als Hai durch die Weltmeere fressen

Entwickler und Publisher Tripwire Interactive und Handelspartner sowie Publisher Deep Silver geben heute bekannt, dass Maneater, die von Spielern, Yachtbesitzern und Hochsee-Anglern gefeierte Fischfutter-Simulation, am 25. Mai 2021 auch für Nintendo Switch erscheinen wird.

Nach den erfolgreichen Veröffentlichungen von Maneater für das PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X und PC haben sich die offenen Gewässer von Port Clovis zu tragbaren Gewässern entwickelt. Egal, ob unterwegs oder zu Hause: Spieler auf Nintendo Switch können schon bald Fressen, Erkunden und sich bis an die Spitze der Nahrungskette weiterentwickeln und so zum Apex Predator der Ozeane werden.

Über Maneater

Maneater ist ein Singleplayer-Spiel in einer offenen Spielwelt, in dem der Spieler der Hai ist. Gestartet wird als junges Bullenhai-Baby, das durch das blutige Abschlachten seiner Mutter in den weiten Ozeanen völlig auf sich gestellt ist und überleben muss, indem es sich schnellstmöglich durch das Ökosystem der Meere frisst. Dabei stehen dem jungen Hai zahlreiche Feinde gegenüber - sowohl menschlich als auch tierisch. Durch Jagd auf die sinnvollsten Nahrungsressourcen wird das Wachstum und die Entwicklung des Jungtiers beschleunigt und mit etwas Geschick weit hinter die Grenzen des natürlich Möglichen getrieben, so dass der Spieler das Abenteuer ganz seinem Spielstil anpassen kann. Die erfolgreiche Entwicklung von jungen Bullenhai-Baby zum eindrucksvollen Monsterhai ermöglicht die wilde Jagd auf die skrupellosen Fischer, die schon bald ebenso blutig Verantwortung für den Tod der Haifisch-Mutter übernehmen müssen. Der Weg von kleinem Baby zum legendären Predator der Meer ist lang - und kein einfacher. Fressen. Erkunden. Entwickeln.
