Spieler kehren zu den Arc Islands zurück für das „letzte Gefecht“. Die Situation ist kritisch: Die Lume-Aktivität hat sich exponentiell erhöht und die Feinde sind zahlenmäßig überlegen.

Das Paket beinhaltet einen neuen Skin für jeden der vier Hauptcharaktere: Skye, Sweet, Haigen und Simo.
Über Sanctum 2
In Sanctum 2 wählen Spieler eine aus vier einzigartigen Charakter-Klassen und nehmen den Kampf gegen mysteriöse Aliens auf. Die Kämpfer können mithilfe des erweiterten Anpassungssystems individuell gestaltet werden. Spieler wählen zwischen verschiedenen Türmen, Waffen und Perks, um die Horden der Feinde zu zerstören und die Menschheit zu beschützen.
Um die Wellen der anstürmenden Aliens niederzustrecken, müssen Mauern und Abwehrtürme errichtet werden. Der Rest der Monster schalten Spieler in bekannter Ego-Shooter-Manier aus. Zwischen den Wellen werden Ressourcen vergeben, mit denen die Mauern ausgebaut oder Türme verstärkt werden können. Um die richtige Taktik für jede Angriffswelle zu wählen, können sich Spieler vorher mit der Art der Angreifer auseinandersetzten.
Die Kampagne kann entweder alleine oder mit bis zu vier Spielern im Koop-Modus bestritten werden. Es gilt die Geheimnisse des Planeten LOEK II herauszufinden und zu ergründen, warum die Aliens so besessen davon sind, die Menschheit zu zerstören.
About Coffee Stain Studios
The story of Coffee Stain Studios began in 2009 with a couple of students at the University of Skövde, Sweden. We all attended the same programme in Game Development and when it was time for the thesis work we decided to team up and to make a game - that game was Sanctum. A team of ten people started working on Sanctum and the development was as indie as it gets. We were working in one room during an unusually hot summer using cardboard boxes as desktops and kitchen chairs from home as our office chairs.
Sanctum was developed using Unreal Development Kit and we submitted our game to Epic Games competition Make Something Unreal and it went on to win several prizes landing Coffee Stain Studios a five year licensing agreement with Epic Games. Sanctum was featured on their website showcasing UDK and become more and more popular. We realized we were on something here and decided to give Sanctum a proper release!
The company was officially started in 2010 and we began working on Sanctum adding features and levels. Finally it was polished enough! Sanctum was released in April 2011 to PC and about a year later for Mac. Being the worlds first hybrid between First Person Shooter and Tower Defense our unique concept made the game an indie hit on Steam. We expected to sell 25 000 copies to break even, but Sanctum ended up selling over 600 000 copies. Now, we have doubled our development team and we finally have the budget and resources to make Sanctum 2 the next huge indie-hit on PC, PSN and XBLA!
