KOEI TECMO Europe und das berühmte Entwicklerstudio Team NINJA (Nioh, Ninja Gaiden) enthüllen die ersten Details zu ihrem epischen, übernatürlichen Drei-Reiche-Thriller Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Das Spiel befindet sich derzeit für Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, PC via Windows und Steam® in Entwicklung und soll Anfang 2023 erscheinen.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty erzählt die dramatische, actiongeladene Geschichte eines namenlosen Milizsoldaten, der in einer düsteren Fantasy-Version der späten Han-Dynastie ums Überleben kämpft und in die Drei Reiche von Dämonen heimgesucht werden. Die Spieler erwehren sich mit Hilfe von, auf den chinesischen Kampfkünsten basierenden, Schwertmanövern zahlreicher tödlicher Kreaturen und feindlicher Soldaten. Nur die im Inneren eines jeden Kriegers verborgenen wahren Kräfte können die Widersacher stoppen.
Das Spiel wurde gemeinsam von den Team NINJA-Produzenten Fumihiko Yasuda (Nioh) und Masaaki Yamagiwa (Bloodborne) entwickelt und beinhaltet folgende Features:
1. Dämonen im Königreich
Eine düstere Fantasy-Geschichte, die in der chaotischen Zeit der Drei Reiche spielt und die Geschichte eines Milizsoldaten erzählt, der während der späteren Han-Dynastie, die von Dämonen heimgesucht wird, ums Überleben kämpft. In den Drei Reichen herrscht der Wahnsinn wie niemals zuvor!
2. Die innere Kraft erwecken
Tödliche Feinde müssen besiegt werden, um die Moral zu stärken und die innere Kraft zu erwecken! Durch einzigartige neue Strategien, darunter Kampfstile basierend auf den „Fünf Phasen", gilt es, alle Widrigkeiten zu überwinden.
3. Meister des Schwertes
Die Schwertkämpfer der chinesischen Kampfkünste sind für ihre gnadenlosen Hiebe bekannt, die das Blatt in einem Sekundenbruchteil wenden können. Dabei wechseln sie anmutig zwischen offensiven und defensiven Manövern hin und her. Spieler überwältigen Gegner in intensiven und blutigen Kämpfen und lernen dabei die Präzision und das Können um ein wahrer Meister des Schwertes zu werden.
