Un nouveau trailer cauchemardesque pour The Chant

L’éditeur Prime Matter et le développeur Brass Token dévoilent aujourd’hui un trailer inédit consacré à l’histoire de leur action-aventure horrifique à la troisième personne, The Chant.
 


Alors qu’un chant rituel tourne au désastre parce que l’énergie négative des participants ouvre un portail vers une dimension cauchemardesque, Jess Briars doit tout faire pour survivre et lever le voile sur les mystères présents et passés qui entourent une secte. Autour d’elle, les personnes commencent peu à peu à être envahies par la folie, cette dernière est causée par des créatures parasites qui font leur apparition sur l’île.

Ces monstres utilisent les peurs de leurs proies pour les traquer. Si elle souhaite survivre à ce cauchemar, Jess doit alors faire attention à bien équilibrer son mental, sa santé et sa spiritualité. Afin d’échapper aux horreurs de Glory Island, il lui faudra fuir, mais également combattre à l’aide d’armes et de capacités spirituelles qui lui permettront de sceller l’Obscurité.

Mike Skupa, le directeur créatif du jeu déclare : « Nous avons pour objectif de surprendre les joueurs en proposant un jeu qui sort des sentiers battus en mélangeant secte horrifique des années 70 et spiritualité New Age. Nous avons la liberté d’essayer de nouvelles choses et tous les jours nous tentons de nous surpasser avec notre premier titre, The Chant ».

The Chant sortira sur PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S et PC à l’automne 2022.
