Deep Silver et 4A Games sont heureux d’annoncer que Metro Exodus, ce shooter à la première personne inspiré des romans de Dmitry Glukhovsky, sera disponible sur Xbox Series X / S et PlayStation 5. Des améliorations majeures y seront apportées, telles qu’un meilleur framerate, une meilleure résolution, une réduction des temps de chargement, en plus d’un ray tracing incroyable rendu possible par la nouvelle technologie qu’offrent les next-gen.
Cette nouvelle génération de consoles permettra à 4A Games de délivrer des améliorations au niveau des visuels mais aussi des performances, ce qui n’était auparavant possible que sur des PC de pointe et des cartes compatibles RTX. De plus, cette version optimisée de Metro Exodus sera disponible via une mise à niveau gratuite pour les détenteurs des versions PS4 ou Xbox One. Une date de sortie sera annoncée très prochainement.
Afin de célébrer le dixième anniversaire de la franchise comme il se doit, Deep Silver et 4A Games sont revenus sur l’aventure unique de Metro et en ont fait une rétrospective interactive qui retrace l’histoire de la série, ainsi que chaque événement majeur du studio.
Cette rétrospective revient sur l’histoire entrelacée de Dmitry Glukhovsky, 4A Games et l’univers des jeux Metro. Elle offre ainsi aux fans et aux nouveaux arrivants une façon tout à fait unique d’explorer cette série iconique.
Parmi les updates du studio, 4A Games a également confirmé que le prochain titre Metro est actuellement en développement et qu’il sera prévu pour cette nouvelle génération de consoles et PC. A cette occasion, une révision complète du moteur sera effectuée afin de profiter de la nouvelle puissance des consoles.
De plus, la récente annonce du partenariat avec Saber Interactive permettra à 4A Games de s’essayer à une toute nouvelle expérience dans l’univers de Metro, à savoir le mode multijoueur. « En tant que petit studio, nous n’avons jamais pu rendre justice à nos ambitions, et nos idées n’ont jamais dépassé le stade de prototype » explique 4A Games. « Mais grâce à l’expérience de Saber dans les jeux en ligne, nous explorons désormais activement le concept multijoueur qui offrira aux fans une nouvelle façon d’aborder le monde de Metro ».
