Unicorn Overlord is een stralende nieuwe game van de makers van 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim™, Dragon’s Crown™ en Odin Sphere™ waarin een levendige open wereld en een innovatief gevechtssysteem in de bekende Vanillaware-stijl gecombineerd worden. Naast een Standard edition zal er ook een *Collector's edition van Unicorn Overlord verschijnen, met daarin de fysieke versie van Unicorn Overlord, een Premium Edition-doos, een 16-bit soundtrack-cd met achtergrondmuziek (twee CD's met elk tien tracks), een artbook met 132 pagina's en een speciaal ontworpen kaartspel met daarin 239 kaarten, tokens en markers.
De Collector's edition wordt ook geleverd met het ATLUS X Vanillaware Heraldry-pack, een pre-order-DLC, waarmee je de vlag van het Bevrijdingsleger [Liberation Army] aan kunt passen met ontwerpen uit Odin Sphere, Dragon’s Crown en 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
