After the revamped format changes made in December 2022, there have been a few minor changes to the BLAST Rainbow Six ecosystem format and qualifying process for the coming season. These changes were announced back in January and include a revamped Six Invitational points system and qualifying process alongside the reintroduction of Last Chance Qualifiers.

The updated Six Invitational points system and qualifying process will put more emphasis on teams’ performances in Majors. For Season 2024, we will also be bringing back the Six Invitational Last Chance Qualifiers, which will see four qualifiers take place in December 2024 and January 2025 during the off-season in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific. Season 2024 is right around the corner with Stage 1 matches beginning during the week commericing March 11th.

Chrystina Martel, Executive Producer for BLAST Rainbow Six, said: “After an incredible Six Invitational 2024 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, we are excited to bring BLAST Rainbow Six esports to a number of incredible locations, old and new, for Season 2024 and can’t wait for the upcoming season to get underway. Manchester and Montreal provide the ideal host cities for this year’s Majors and the United States is set to host its first-ever Six Invitational in what will be a historical moment for Rainbow Six esports. The Siege fanbase is one of a kind, we are excited by the prospect of entering another season filled with fans coming together through their shared love of Rainbow Six esports in arenas all around the world.”

Nelsen Garcia, Associate Director of Esports Live Experience at Ubisoft, said: “A big part of our strategy is taking Rainbow Six Esports to where our communities are. Hosting the Six Invitational in Brazil was very important to us and our fans here, and now we’re looking forward to bringing our next events around the world.
