Vandaag is de officiële launch trailer van Street Fighter™ 6 verschenen, met een speciale rol voor niemand minder dan rap-legende Lil Wayne. De trailer vangt de opwinding en energie die mensen voelen wanneer ze de game spelen met vrienden, familie en andere tegenstanders van over de hele wereld. In de trailer zien we Lil Wayne zijn vaardigheden testen met vrienden, naast kleurrijke beelden uit de Street Fighter™-franchise, met verwijzingen naar allerlei culturen. Lil Wayne is al lang een liefhebber van de Street Fighter-franchise en heeft dit te zeggen over de release van de komende game:
 
“Ik ben een Street Fighter OG en speel de game al sinds de dagen van Street Fighter™ II. Dus voor mij voelt het alsof de cirkel rond is, nu ik samenwerk met de franchise voor de release van Street Fighter 6," zei Lil Wayne.
 
De launch trailer van Street Fighter 6 is tot leven gebracht door Nomadic Agency. Dit digitale creatieve bureau wordt geleid door chief creative officer Tim Washburn en directeur Dawn Bates. De creative director van de trailer is Lucas McClain, de senior art director is Jonathan Marques, en de senior producer is Andrea Abbott. Emma Brill werkte eraan als account director, Lindsay Curtis als senior copywriter, en Jaclyn Blanchette als project manager.
 
Joyrider is het productiebedrijf achter de Street Fighter 6 launch trailer, die werd geregisseerd door Jonathan Irwin, met Spencer Friend als uitvoerend producent. Nikita Kuzmenko werkte eraan als director of photography, en Alex Gregory als colorist. Nigel Heath & Jamie Allen waren de sound engineers die de trailer mixten, terwijl de Jonathan Irwin, Ray Stevens en Alec Gordon de edit verzorgden. De laatste drie hebben ook de VFX gemaakt, samen met Alfie Hale en Russell Boyd. Sherri Korhonen is de production designer, Hunter McHugh is de casting director, en de music mixing en design zijn verzorgd door Jingle Punks.
