Milestone heeft vandaag Kagawa-Kai onthuld, het laatste team dat meedoet in Screamer. Deze toevoeging voltooit de line-up van in totaal 15 personages die klaar zijn om te strijden in het grootste straatracetoernooi ooit. Kagawa-Kai is één van de beruchtste criminele organisaties; een familie die kwetsbare jongeren uitbuit en ze het criminele leven in sleept.

De groep wordt geleid door Noboru Sato. Deze legendarische racer werd ooit gevreesd als beste Screamer ter wereld en alleen al zijn comeback jaagt de andere deelnemers de stuipen op het lijf. Zijn oudere broer Keiji Sato doet ook mee aan het toernooi. Hij verlangt naar meer erkenning binnen de organisatie, ondanks dat hij altijd na Noboru op de tweede plaats eindigt. Het team wordt voltooid door de jonge en arrogante Akemi Nomura.
Samen vormen ze een team gebonden door complexe loyaliteiten, dat niet voor roem of geld racet, maar voor iets veel belangrijkers: familie.
Screamer staat gepland voor een release in 2026 en zal beschikbaar zijn voor PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S en PC.
