IJslandse studio debuteert met Echoes of the End, nu verkrijgbaar

Een nieuwe wereld en een nieuw geluid in het gaminglandschap

Echoes of the End, de debuutgame van de IJslandse studio Myrkur Games, is vanaf vandaag officieel verkrijgbaar. Deze action-adventure game wordt uitgegeven door Deep Silver en is nu beschikbaar op Steam, PlayStation 5 en Xbox Series X|S.

Een nieuw geluid in creatieve verhaalvertelling
Echoes of the End is de eerste grote release van Myrkur Games, een onafhankelijke IJslandse studio uit Reykjavík. Deze studio is opgericht door een toegewijde groep ontwikkelaars en verhalenvertellers, gedreven door een gedeelde passie voor meeslepende, filmische werelden.

Om hun visie tot leven te brengen heeft het team een aantal jaar gedaan over het bouwen van aangepaste pipelines voor motion capture, photogrammetry en performance animatie. Hierdoor voelt elke scene authentiek, gegrond en met emotionele impact.

Een persoonlijk verhaal op epische schaal
Spelers besturen Ryn. Zij is een vestige, een individu geboren met onstabiele magische krachten. Ze gaat op pad om haar broer te redden uit de handen van een meedogenloos rijk dat op de rand van oorlog staat. Tijdens haar avontuur moet ze een samenzwering zien te ontrafelen die een oud conflict opnieuw kan doen oplaaien en de wereld van Aema in chaos kan storten.

Het verhaal, gedreven door thema’s als vertrouwen, opoffering en verlossing, ontvouwt zich in tien hoofdstukken gevuld met filmische momenten, gedenkwaardige personages en bloedstollende keuzes.
