Het wachten is voorbij; Scars Above – de uitdagende sci-fi third-person action adventure die spelers verplaatst naar een mysterieuze buitenaardse wereld – ligt vanaf vandaag in verschillende winkels op aarde. Scars Above is nu verkrijgbaar voor PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S en Steam.
De game is ontwikkeld door de Servische ontwikkelaar Mad Head Games en wordt uitgegeven door Prime Matter. Het avontuur plaatst je in de schoenen van Dr. Kate Ward die wordt ontvoerd door buitenaardse wezens en zo raakt verstrikt op een even raadselachtige als gevaarlijke wereld.
Om de lancering te vieren, hebben we een speciale launch trailer uitgebracht die spelers een indruk geeft van de buitenaardse genoegens die deze titel in petto heeft.

De game heeft ook een surprise-gast die we tot nog toe verborgen wisten te houden. Gamer, muziekproducer en YouTube-ster The Dooo was namelijk betrokken bij de productie van de muziek van de game, en heeft ook een speciale track voor deze titel geleverd. Het verhaal
De hele wereld is verbaasd als er plots een gigantisch, raadselachtig buitenaards voertuig in een baan om de aarde verschijnt. Mensen noemen het ‘The Metahedron’. Het Sentient Contact Assessment and Response team (SCAR) – bestaande uit wetenschappers en ingenieurs – wordt op onderzoek uitgestuurd.
De zaken lopen anders dan gepland, wanneer de Metahedron het team door de ruimte naar een mysterieuze gebied buiten ons zonnestelsel slingert. Daar ontwaakt onze heldin Kate, alleen, op een vreemde en vijandige wereld. Vastbesloten om te overleven, gaat ze op zoek naar haar bemanning en probeert ze de mysterieuze gebeurtenissen te ontrafelen.
