Team Ninja’s Action-RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty nu verkrijgbaar

Bestrijd demonen en krijgsheren met toverspreuken en Chinese vechtkunst in deze thriller van Team NINJA!

KOEI TECMO Europe en ontwikkelaar Team NINJA dagen spelers vandaag uit om de demonen uit de Drie Koninkrijken te verjagen in de spectaculaire dark fantasy-game Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Deze action-RPG is nu verkrijgbaar voor Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, pc via Windows en Steam®, en via Game Pass voor console en pc.
 

 
Wo Long speelt in het jaar 184, tijdens de Late Han-dynastie, en verplaatst spelers naar een land dat wordt geteisterd door chaos en vernietiging. Wanneer een keizerrijk op de rand van instorten staat, moet een naamloze soldaat vechten om het tij te keren in de chaos van de Drie Koninkrijken, die worden belaagd door demonen en enkele van de machtigste krijgers ooit, inclusief Liu Bei, Cao en Sun Jian. Om in hun missie te slagen moeten spelers hun innerlijke kracht wekken en gebruik maken van de vloeiende zwaardbewegingen uit de Chinese vechtkunst. Daarnaast kunnen spelers toverspreuken gebruiken die zijn gebaseerd op de Five Phases (elementen) en zelfs Divine Beasts oproepen!

“Als iemand met een fascinatie voor de  ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms’, waar ik als kind mee kennismaakte via manga en films, heb ik er altijd over gedroomd om een game te maken over de Drie Koninkrijken—periode,” aldus Fumihiko Yasuda, producer van Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. “We hopen dat spelers zullen genieten van de intensiteit die kenmerkend is voor Team NINJA-games, en diverse strategieën zullen ontwikkelen om de machtige krijgers en sluwe demonen op hun pad te overwinnen.”
 
Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa voegt toe: “We hebben veel feedback ontvangen van spelers die de proefversie van de game speelden, en hebben onze uiterste best gedaan hun verwachtingen te overtreffen. We hopen dat jullie zullen genieten van de opwindende sfeer van deze Team NINJA-creatie, de uitdaging om grote dreigingen het hoofd te bieden, en de voldoening die dat oplevert.”
 
Om de lancering van de game te vieren, heeft KOEI TECMO Europe de Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Original Sound Track uitgebracht op verschillende muziekplatformen. Deze soundtrack bevat alle 53 songs uit de game, compleet, en inclusief diverse meesterwerken van Kenichiro Suehiro, maker van muziek voor "Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World” en "GOLDEN KAMUY".
 
Daarnaast kondigt KOEI TECMO een samenwerking aan tussen Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty en NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, een populaire actie-game die wereldwijd meer dan 10 miljoen keer is verkocht en nu beschikbaar is voor Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, Steam en de  Microsoft Store. De samenwerking begint op 3 maart in NARAKA, en wordt vervolgd in komende DLC voor Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
 
Er is ook een samenwerking aangekondigd tussen Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty en het kledingmerk EDWIN. Voor deze samenwerking worden bepaalde items gemaakt die zijn gebaseerd op de gamewereld, in samenwerking met Team NINJA. Binnenkort verschijnt hierover meer informatie!
